Disappointment a Day: 50 or why do I password protect posts

I password protect not because of content, language, or anything along those lines. I don’t really care who reads what I write unless you are going to jack an idea. Posts that are password protected usually have some idea or thought that I’m afraid that might get “borrowed” by someone else. I wouldn’t mind if someone took an idea and ran with it if they could/would do it better than I would. I would beg someone to do it better, but I doubt someone who could, would have stumbled across my blog. Go figure. It could just be me being paranoid. What disappoints me? Idea jackers that do crappy jobs.
