My eyes have quit hurting, but my vision isn’t quite here yet. I still have the contact bandages in. It feels like I’ve slept in contacts for the past 3 days. Wait, I have. I know with my proceedure that I can’t expect full vision results for 10 days to up to 6 weeks.

It’s a little like waiting on Christmas only to find out that the batteries to that new toy can’t be had until a week or more after Christmas. I’m pumped, but a little disappointed it wasn’t immediate.

I knew that going in that it wouldn’t be.

Disappointment = fast food healthcare expectations.
