Disappointment a Day: 28

Yerp, I’m still under the weather. Today is the hardest I’ve been hit yet. I went to a Doc-in-a-Box today. I got a shot in my butt, an antibiotic, and some codeine cough syrup that MESSES me up. I ate a bit even though I didn’t feel like it, took some of the cough syrup and laid on the couch to enjoy “Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark” I couldn’t if the movie was that good or not. I can attest to the fact it freaked me out.

I have no desire to watch it again. I don’t really want to go to sleep tonight by myself. I’m afraid that it was the drugs that had me all jazzed up. Why can’t we have good scary movies any more?

Disappointment = the state of today’s horror movies.

Pete a Day: 9

Today is the last day to jump on Michael’s contest. DO IT! Since Michael is in Hawaii the cut off time isn’t until late. Oops! Just saw the cut off was last night.

Day 9. I’m working on something for you guys.

Disappointment a Day: 27

Why isn’t there any family friendly TV content any more? Just in case any of my three readers don’t know, I have a wife and a three-year old little girl. It is hard to find something that is entertaining and appropriate for the three of us.

Kid shows make me want to poke my eyes out and things that Amberly and I would watch are not for 3-year-old eyes and ears.

Does anybody remember TGIF? Family friendly TV without being too annoying.

Full House

Family Matters

Perfect Strangers

Dinosaurs

Max Headroom

You know all classics and great for families.

I’m just not seeing that on TV right now. The Disney Channel does have one show that seems to get pretty close. Good Luck Charlie is the least annoying Disney show that I’ve run across.

Disappointment = crappy family TV. That’s why we turn to Star Wars.
